June 13 - 16, 2018        Johnstown, PA

Tournament is open to the public all four days, free of charge (no tickets required).

The entry fee is three hundred and eighty five dollars ($385). This covers your caddy fees, all of your meals and any immediate family members (wife, father, mother, brother, sister) who attend, during your stay at Sunnehanna. If you have not paid prior to the tournament, we ask that you do so upon your arrival at the hospitality desk which is located in the lobby.  Players may also carry their own clubs or bring a caddy with them, the entry fee would be two hundred and sixty five dollars ($265).

Since its inception, it has been a tournament tradition to offer member housing to our participants. We do this to keep your costs down and at the same time provide some of the comforts of home. Our members are delighted to make their homes available to the contestants.

If you desire to stay in a private home, you must let us know by May 22nd to guarantee availability. Please indicate when you register online. We will accommodate players and their wives in private homes. We cannot guarantee lodging for parents but will do what we can if requested. Someone will contact you to confirm your housing as well as whom you may be staying with.

The hospitality desk will be open at the club, Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Transportation to private homes can be made for other times by calling the club (814) 255-4121 and asking for the hospitality desk or email Kim McKinney at katalipat@atlanticbb.net or committee@sunnehanna.org.

Play consists of seventy-two holes of stroke play, with a cut after 54 holes. The final round will consist of the low fifty players and ties.

No personal caddies are permitted; we furnish caddies for all contestants.

Shorts are not permitted during tournament play but are during practice rounds.

Distance measuring devices are permitted but may not measure slope or wind. Even if the slope and wind function can be turned off, it is NOT permitted for play. Use of a DMD with those functions during tournament play is disqualification.

Players clubs must conform to the groove and punchmark specifications in the Rules of Golf effective January 1, 2010.

We ask that sports jackets be worn for the Tuesday evening player introductions. We promise, wearing a jacket is painless nor has anyone become deathly ill from wearing one.

The course is available exclusively to players beginning at 1:00 on Sunday, and on Monday the week of the Tournament.

Our Amateur-Junior Best Ball Tournament, which is made up of local juniors and amateurs, will be played on Monday, the week of the Tournament, beginning at noon. All amateurs play at scratch and the juniors play with their club handicaps. Participation is optional but we appreciate your support. Let us emphasize this is a practice round for you. This is a great experience for local junior golfers to see the skill and commitment the game requires. Please indicate your willingness to participate on the card that was mailed.
